4 Easter Game Ideas for Kids to Add More Fun and Laughter
from:
Make Easter an enjoyable time for your kids by coming up with Easter games that they would surely love.
There are a lot of Easter games for kids that you can think of. You just have to make sure that the Easter egg is the star in all of these games. After, that is what Easter is for.
Below are some suggestions of Easter games for kids that you can have on that special day.
1. Easter egg relay.
Separate the children into two or more different teams. After that, assign a colored egg for each. Then make them form a line at one end. On the other end of the line, put a basket where the eggs will be placed. Each child on the team should be given a spoon.
When the signal is given, each child will carry the egg on the spoon and will then walk the line going to the basket. Once the child reach the basket, he or she will put the egg there and will run back to the next person on his or her line. The next child will do the same thing.
The winner of the game is the team that has out all the eggs in the basket at the fastest time.
2. Easter egg roll.
Draw parallel lines on the floor or on top of a table. In the spaces between the parallel line, draw circles that have corresponding numbers each. You can mark them down as 1, 5 and 10.
The mechanics of the game is simple. All the kids have to do is roll the eggs down these lines and make sure that they will stop inside the circle. Each child will be given a specific number of eggs to be rolled.
The corresponding numbers that the eggs have stopped into will be counted and tallied. The child that gets the most number of points is declared the winner.
3. Easter bunny’s egg.
On a large sheet of paper or a piece of cloth, draw an Easter bunny with its paws positioned as if it is holding something. Then cut out some colored eggs just big enough to be held in the paws of the bunny. A pin should be stuck into each egg.
The children playing this game should be blindfolded. When they have the eggs, all they need to do is cross over to the bunny and try to pin the eggs directly on top of its paws.
Since the children are blindfolded, they have to guess the exact position of the paws so that they will win the game. The child who gets to place the egg nearest or exactly on the bunny’s paws wins the game.
4. Hanging Easter eggs.
You can place the eggs in strings to be hung on the ceiling or have them placed together in a clay pot.
The children in this game are also blindfolded and are given a cane to try and hit the egg. They are made to turn around a couple of times before hitting on the suspended eggs. Each of these children is given two or three chances for hitting.
The winner is declared once the eggs are hit.
Bring more fun to your Easter day by considering some of these Easter game ideas for kids. If you cannot do all these at the same time, do not worry; there is always next Easter.
